Our Love Story

It Started With
"Do I know you?"

Like many modern love stories, ours started with a little help… and a little confusion.

We were introduced by our mutual friend Jazmine, who thought we’d get along. Funny enough, this happened after Daymir had asked to be set up with someone else. Daymir sent Luigi a friend request on Facebook, but Jazmine forgot to mention it to him. So naturally, his first message was, “Do I know you?”

Once the backstory was explained, we learned that Jazmine had tried to set Luigi up before and it did not work out. Still, we decided to see where things would go. Thankfully, this time was different.

Our first date was simple but meaningful. We went for pupusas at Don Francisco’s, one of Luigi’s favorite spots. He used to go there often when he worked at the daycare in Bethlehem, and Daymir had spent three weeks in El Salvador eating pupusas every single day. It felt like the perfect place to start. After lunch, we went for a walk… and the rest fell into place.

What started as casual dates quickly turned into little adventures. We took short drives to nearby cities, then traveled to different states, and before we knew it, we were exploring other countries together.

In 2024, we bought our first home and blended our families under one roof. In 2025, we got engaged. Since then, life has been filled with love, growth, and so many special moments including birthdays, milestones, holidays, and everything in between.

To this day, we still make time for what brought us together. We continue to travel, explore, and enjoy our weekly dates, whether it is going for a massage, trying something new, or simply sharing a great meal together.
